Steps to Own Your Snowy Peak Golden Retriever Puppy.
At Snowy Peak Goldens, we believe in making the process of bringing home a new puppy as smooth and transparent as possible. To help you understand the steps involved in adopting one of our beloved English Cream Golden Retrievers, we’ve outlined the process below.
Step 1: Contract
The first step to owning a Snowy Peak Golden is completing our Puppy Reservation Contract. Please read through our contract (including deposit terms) then sign and return. Once submitted, we’ll review your information and get in touch to confirm your deposit and position on our waitlist.
Step 2: Deposit
Once your reservation is confirmed, you’ll need to submit a non-refundable deposit* to secure your place on our waitlist for the upcoming litter. The deposit helps us plan for the health and care of the puppies and ensures that you are committed to bringing a Snowy Peak Golden into your home. The deposit amount will be deducted from the total cost of the puppy, and we will keep you updated on the expected timeline for the litter.
Step 3: Selection
As the litter nears 6-7 weeks of age, we will contact you to schedule your puppy selection. Puppies selection follows the waitlist order based on when deposits were received, so the sooner your deposit is received, the earlier you will have the opportunity to choose your puppy. We take great care in assisting each family in selecting their perfect puppy, considering factors such as temperament, energy levels, and the needs of the household. We want to ensure that each puppy is placed in the perfect home!
Step 4: Take Home
Puppies are ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age, after they’ve had their first round of vaccinations and deworming. At this time, you will be able to pick up your puppy or arrange for delivery (additional fees apply for delivery). We’ll provide you with a puppy care package that includes a blanket with the scent of their littermates, food, and other essentials to help ease the transition to their new home. You’ll also receive a vaccination record and AKC registration paperwork. Our goal is to make sure you feel fully prepared and supported as you welcome your new family member!

We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we will keep you informed throughout the process as we work to place a healthy, happy puppy in your home.
